If you receive emails offering tax refunds that require you to click a link to complete a form with your personal information, don’t do it! In fact, you should never click any unsolicited link in any email, nor should you ever give out your personal information when requested by any organization or person.

Microsoft released their regularly scheduled software updates today and if you have not updated your system, you should do it now!

On the second Tuesday of each month, Microsoft releases patches, service packs, and other updates for their products. Many of these updates are necessary to keep your system secure against known exploits; therefore, you should go to http://update.microsoft.com and check to make sure you have all of the latest security patches installed.

You should also make sure your Office software is up to date by going to http://office.microsoft.com and click the “Office Update” link in the “Updates” section.

If you need to download and install any patches, you should reboot your computer when they have finished.
